Drift Novel.com

by Sara San Angelo

Drift started out as a short story about ten years ago. Over the years it grew into its current form.  A year ago, I started shopping around for a literary agent and quickly found out that the subject manner was too risqué for the main stream publishing industry.  So in traditional DIY fashion, I decided to publish it myself as an e-book.

Drift is about a journey, one girl's journey from one way of thinking to another.  From a world of illusion to one of reality.  It is about waking up and seeing the world for what it really is.

"Life" in it's current form leaves one feeling depressed and confused and wondering why we are here in the first place.  The chase for the Almighty Dollar has made billionaires of few and slaves of many.  It has wrecked nations and made the necessities of life commodities.  And it is destroying our planet, the only one we have.  We have become disconnected from the universal rhythm of things and hide in boxes from the energy-giving nature that surrounds us.  I heard a news report a few months ago that kids are not getting enough Vitamin D.  We get most of our Vitamin D from the sun and it seems kids are not going outside much anymore and have become deficient in this important vitamin.  And the "answer" to this? Some well respected doctor of so-and-so said to prescribe kids Vitamin D pills!  Not turn off the television and go outside, but to buy a pill!

This is what I am fighting against and why this book is so important.   God gave us everything we need to survive on this planet and we have been doing a pretty good job for thousands and thousands of years.  Now, we have so many ways to destroy ourselves I can't even count them.  But we are at an epic time in history where the veil over the world is starting to tatter at the edges, revealing the truth underneath.  Help me tear that veil away so we can all just drift.....

Note:

This is the first part of a series.  I’m not trying to get rich, just pay the web fees and get the word out before it’s too late.  Hopefully the second part of the book does not turn into a survival manual.
